Hello Sam,
The people flourishing in the two towers were flourishing at the expense of
less fortunate individuals. Only so many people may have the opportunity to
live as parasitic economic units scavenging on the back of a huge capitalist
enterprise. In Aristotle's day money was only as yet just developing as a
means of transacting mutual social good, and slavery was the natural lot of
many Humans who were deemed not to enjoy that status. By the way, that may
have included women in Aristotle's mind.
Down the block from the twin towers, Humans flourished in gutters and under
road bridges too; flourishing in the putrid stench and detritus of a free and
Dynamic country, were

One can be at the very bottom of the social pile and yet be intellectually
and morally superior to those within the rich confines of an air conditioned
nightmare. More good people die every day of the year who will never be
recognised or cared for
