Oops, my bad. I guess what was bubbling in my mind just had to come out
somehow, and I misunderstood your point. Panentheism is certainly compatible
with Christianity - at least, I know lots of highly educated Christians that
hold it; I used to, now I'm not so sure (developing mistrust of all
metaphysical descriptions of God, not a specific rejection of panentheism).
I liked what you said in your last post on this though.

I think it's about time I shut up for a while, and let my torrent of words
subside. Hopefully if I let things settle I'll have some more feedback. I've
started to gather some things together from my posts, in order to write up a
coherent essay (about reconceiving the fourth level) to be posted on the
website, and without even trying I've got up to 7,000 words!!!! Besides
that, I want to get back to concentrating my main intellectual energies on
the mysticism stuff, which I've been promising to John B for many moons.
Probably after Christmas I'll put something together about mysticism, the
MoQ, Christianity and spiritual growth. Of course I'll comment on anything
that you or anyone else wants to put out in the meantime, if I've got
something constructive to say.
Cheers!
Sam
