I just want to come back on one element; but first two comments: on the
question of whether bees are social, I have sympathy with your view. I just
quoted Pirsig to bring out the disagreement.... (I'll look back at your
earlier threads). Second, on the question of ritual as the connecting link,
I have to confess a full appreciation of that was 'beneath my radar'. Wim
and I are due to get to grips with that pretty soon, if you wanted to listen
in....

'Tradition' in the sense I've been using it is not the mythos, although like
all our cultural forms it has its origins there. I think it is something
that is enriched through social development and then through fourth level
developments. So a tradition - to be alive - remains open to improvement and
supports the individual in their search for dynamic Quality.
