Davor,
I had read that bit from Pirsig a long while ago and it is good to read
again. I like Pirsig's example of Lincoln as a philosopher. It resembles
Rorty's attempt to apply the mantle "philosopher" to such people as Orwell,
Proust, Nabokov, Emerson, Whitman, and Jefferson.
