ERIN:
"I thought the title of that site was silly so after
grabbing the definition I didn't bother to read on.
But I just read part of it and notice they are
putting "abuctions" not abductions so maybe I will
retract my silly judgement after fully reading it.
LoL---its all about those damn quotation marks"
It seems the author's use of quotation marks is haphazard.
I don't think you could glean much from them. Anyway,
it's pretty obvious once you read enough of it that it
isn't an attempt to debunk or reconstruct alien abductions
as something wholly psychological nor does it suggest
terrestrial explanations for them.
It turns out that part II, the link you referenced, was
pretty "sensible" compared to part III and the succeeding
parts. Here's a looky at some of part III, which is set up
as a question and answer session, where supposed newbies
to the fold, L and T, ask questions of an expert who is privy
to the knowledge of the Cassiopaeans:
Q: (L) How do aliens transport themselves or others on beams of light?
A: By electron focusing and previous answer [transdimensional
atomic rearrangement].
Q: (L) Who or what are the individuals called "Men in Black"?
A: Lizard projections.
Q: (T) Does that mean that they are just projecting an image of a being?
A: Yes.
Q: (T) The MIBS are not real, then, in our physical terms?
A: Partly correct. You do not understand technology but we will describe it if you like.
Q: (L) We like. Please describe this.
A: First we must explain further time "travel" which is Transdimensional
transfer utilizing electromagnetic adjustment of atomic structure to
alter speed of time cycle convergence. because the two concepts are
closely related. The first step is to artificially induce an
electromagnetic field. This opens the door between dimensions of
reality. Next, thoughts must be channelled by participant in order
to access reality bonding channel. They must then focus the energy to
the proper dimensional bridge. The electrons must be arranged in correct
frequency wave. Then the triage must be sent through realm "curtain"
in order to balance perceptions at all density levels.
I hope that it's plainly obvious that this guy (I'll just assume
it's a guy) is a flaming crank. It's all science fiction and the
long-winded answer at the end is a juvenile attempt to sound like a
super-genius. He thinks he can fool some people by throwing around a
few terms borrowed from physics. Perhaps he is so gullible that he
has even fooled himself. And if you don't have the right educational
background to see through that then the MIBS and the lizards should
tip you off.
Now part II is an essay designed to weaken whatever faith you have
in the western belief system (what Pirsig calls SOM) and pave the way
to this other silliness. It's a way to break down your intellectual
inhibitions and the especially open-minded are susceptible. All the
usual contrivances are employed to their maximum effect:
- the Newtonian view of a mechanistic universe makes us ammoral,
stifles creativity, and makes free will impossible
- Christianity perpetrated our notion of linear time
- the old worldview hypnotizes us into perceiving the world the way
we do
- quantum mechanics proves that we live in a participatory universe
where consciousness is central to creating reality
- there is a hidden, dynamic order to the universe that makes
everything in it inseparable and harmonious
- this same message is found in ancient texts and cross-cultural myths.
- synchronicity suggests deep connections and meaningful patterns
without the usual causal mechanisms
- the true ground to the universe transcends physical law
- emergent properties and systems taken as wholes must be understood,
not just the reductionist parts
Now I've seen on the Internet and in books these and subsets of these
ideas paraded out so many times now as a prelude to some other
wackiness that the whole kabudle is extremely suspect. Perhaps
throwing out the baby with the bath water in this case is the best
course. I suspect so. In any case it's a very slippery slope.
