    HI STEVE.

It's a fact that Pirsig is a so-called Zen-person. Near the end of Lila, as
far as I can remember Pirsig says this - kill all intellectual patterns,
kill them completely and pursue dynamic quality and morality will be served
(anyone correct me if I'm wrong as it's been some years since I read Lila).
It's in tune with Zen because Pirsig gives a Zen quote to back up his
statement. The Zen quote says something like - whilst living, be a dead man
then do as you please and all will be well on it's own.

    Regards,
    Zykaine (the non-zen zennist!)
