Where is it written that the MOQ has no quarrel with theories of crop
circles? You're making things up out of desperation..

    msh says:
Are you saying you've spotted something in the MOQ that falsifies the
theory of crop circles? Please direct me.

The point is there are an unlimited number of "theories" with which
the MOQ has no quarrel. This doesn't make them correct, or useful,
or necessary for validation of the MOQ.

     What could be clearer?

You're quoting McWatt, not Pirsig. You're losing it.

    msh says:
Oh for heaven's sake. I just didn't supply, again, the whole
reference, and got a little sloppy. Do you disagree with Ant's
interpretation of the Pirsig quotes? Pirsig implies that the MOQ is
not BIOLOGICALLY goal-less. That is, that patterns of life do have
the "goal" of evolving toward something better than what the physical
laws of nature have to offer, that is, toward Quality. I've already
agreed to this. But this has nothing to do with a master plan or
    planner.

It's 8PM on the west coast. Isn't it past your bed time?
