    Hi

    See JW Burrow's The Crisis Of Reason he gives us
    a good portrayal of the dialectic between materialism
    and idealism in the19th century. Where the more materialistly
    we try to approach the question the more matter turns into
    spirit and vice versa where ideas have to act like matter.
