    David Morey said to dmb:
I think I understand almost everything you and Scott say, so maybe you just
    ain't trying hard enough.

    dmb says:
Hmmm. Well, don't break your arm patting yourself on the back there, mister.
Since you claim to understand Scott's assertions, and maybe even that they
make sense, then why not offer some help rather than the insulting and
    unhelpful advice to "try harder".

    DM offers more advice:
Why don't you try dealing with one thing you don't understand at a time
rather than giving us your whole world view every time and trying to fit
what other people say into it.

    dmb sez:
The MOQ offers a different world view. In terms of "trying to fit what other
people say", that's the world view I'm interested in. I thought we all were.
If you're saying that I should decrease the scope of my arguments, we'll
just have to disagree about that. As I matter of fact, I find your posts to
be too narrow and small. After reading many, many of them I still have no
sense of who you are or what you think. I guess its a matter of taste or
something, but from my point of view you're offering little candies where I
    want a big hearty stew.

    DM offers even more:
You never know maybe something in it will prove to be inconsistent or
unjusrtified and it is confusing you. I like the whole WIlber
Pirsig link but I think Scott is digging quite deep but sometimes
seeing differences with Pirsig with a strict rather than fair reading.

    dmb sez:
Something inconsistent or unjustified in MY worldview? You can bet your last
penny on it. But if you want to discuss that or any "confusion" on my part,
you'd really have to be more specific. I can see that the main idea here is
that it might help to take Scott's assertions point by point, one at a time
and explore them. I think I've already done quite enough of that, but if you
would like to magnify one of those points or whatever, go for it. Instead of
digging deep, I see Scott's thinking as corrupted by myth and religion
rather than being informed by them which in fact has the effect of taking
the depth OUT of things. I'm EXTREMELY skeptical, but go ahead and take a
    shot if you think otherwise.
