    Hi Steve, Rich...

You both might want to read the article again. The report refers to
folks who consider Creationism a valid scientific alternative to
Evolution. The issue is whether Creationism should be taught as
science, in Biology classes, in effect using public funds for
    teaching religious theory.

I don't see anyone objecting to teaching Creationism in cultural
studies, or comparative mythology, etc. In fact, if you read the
report carefully, you'll see that many of the people who object to
including Creationism in biology are Bible Studies teachers.

Or, are you guys suggesting Creationism is in fact scientific?

    Best,
    msh

    Hi All,

I'm with Steve here. If people want to throw in ID and creationism
with evolution what's the problem? Doesn't this give people a greater
degree of freedom to judge the Quality of each themselves. It's all
    about Freedom, folks.

        Hi All,

I couldn't tell from the article what we're supposed to be upset
        about.

Should Wisconsin Law forbid the teaching of Creationism? I think the
        MOQ would
find such a law an immoral repression of intellect by a social
        structure.

What would teaching Creationism entail? It seems to me that it makes
        sense to
mention that many people do not accept biological evolution on
        religious
grounds when teaching evolution. I imagine every biology class that
        touches on
evolutionary theory has some discussion of the matter.

        Thanks,
        Steve
