Civility? Is your post associating Jon with conservatives who have
their "heads- firmly-shoved-up-their-asses" an example of the moral
standard a nation should aspire to?

Fair point. We, all of us, are only human and sometimes, out of
shock or disbelief or sheer exasperation, say things we might later
regret. Calling people "arrogant" for example. Although, where I
come from, that's almost a compliment. :-)
As for civility, there's nothing civil about carrying the banner of a
most uncivilized lie.
