Brief response on this.
My view is that fourth level behaviour cannot be determined by third level (obvious, I think); third
level patterns of value are the systematic moral outlooks etc; therefore a fourth level action
cannot be described in the terms of the third levels. I don't think this means moral relativism, I
think it is what the motto of ZMM is about ("and what is good" etc).
