Ian,
The physical descriptive sections of the book were difficult for me to get
through. I don't have a scientific background.
I have had a few such strange experiences. Luckily I didn't understand
them at the time, but they did get my attention and indicate to me that
there was something hidden behind the mask.
Reading about Zen is not practicing Zen, and I'm not sure I have the
discipline. In fact I know I do not. But it is a beautiful dream.
