Your'e absolutely right. :-) But once you have a reasonable premise based
on experience, logical consistency is indispensable to philosophy. To
quote a familiar metaphysician:
"The tests of truth are logical consistency, agreement with experience,
and economy of explanation." (Lila, 8)
