Greetings,
Is there a hint of depression and hopelessness with this word that is
disturbing? It's emptiness/nothingness rather than nihilism. Is nihilism
another word for "evil"? Does it bespeak what is hidden under our
delusion? What is it exactly that upsets everyone?
Hi Marsha and all,
IMO 'nihilism' unrelated to logic denies the DQ 'existence'of the social
level. In that evolution proceeds in moral levels, to deny one of the levels
is depressing. Also denying one of the levels makes logic lopsided. To feel
at ease I see 'nihilism' as a necessary pole for distinguishing order.
Nihilism to an ? limit. A lot of times 'god' is used for ? which is equally
upsetting. Logic is not comfortable with the dynamic.
