Neither Plato nor Dewey conducted their philosophical / political
debates and activities by e-mail forum.
I have to agree with Matt here, that without eye-contact and body
language, and shared skin in the game, e-mail debate about party
politics and religion are practically taboo, and I avoid them too, not
just on MD, but also on my own public blog.
Doesn't mean I don't have active views, just prefer to stick to the MD
subject. Just part of separating things into layers / levels to make
them tractable.
