Ah, you're all ears - that'll be why there's nothing between them then Platt.
Platt you've already pointed out that none of the rest of us "is in favour of establishing
democracy over tyrrany" - and ignored a response to that - so it must be true. We're
obviously much stupider and more immoral than you. Why waste your breath ?
Is war intrinsically immoral ?!?! - if that's the argument you'reafter, go back to kindergarten - what fautous drivel.
What does matter about its morality is the socio-cultural-political-intellectual way you go about it. (I think you'll find
MoQ has something to say about that. But I forget, you've never read it, you're an anti-intellectual, and the MoQ is
an intellectual creation.) "So far as you can discern" ? - that's a serious attempt at
debate then is it and not pure sarcasm then ?
If those contemplating going about it wanted their arguments to have a leg to stand on, they could have started
by less cynically engineering the situation that brought it about. And having done it they could have been more
careful in their hob-nail boots tramping around the cradle of (all our) civilisation. Principles matter.
And as a matter of principle, Horse, can we get this cr*p off MoQ-Discuss, it's still creating more heat than light.
With apologies to readers of a sensitive disposition.
That's about as "ad hominem" as I dared make it. And no, this isn't a serious attempt at debate. Happy ?
    Grrrr.
