Interesting point Scott,
I seem to recall posting earlier my disappointment tha Pirsig left
this line of research unfinished, having only just scartched the
surface of something intriguing.
I don't see it as undermining MoQ significantly though (careful with
that razor, Aristotle). Pre- or Post- intellectualisation is just
another convenient binary chop classification dichotomy, where there
really is only a trend. Human rationalisation is a process not a
point, and an evolving process at that.
The rationalisation axis (degreee of freedom) is true enough even if
the point doesn't exist.
