Thanks
I have studied your:
"...as a NOUN, GOOD drops the subjectivity to become systems
of preference or probability in a much more objective way"?
but am still not sure if I understand it. In my opinion subjectivity is
dropped along with objectivity by dropping the S/O as reality's
ground and adopting the DQ/SQ one.
But naturally the VALUE of the S/O distinction can't be dropped
and .....
[An aside: Anyone know Dicken's "David Copperfield" and the
Mister Dick character who - when writing some book - is plagued
with King James (of the English revolution war) entering the text.
I seem not able to say anything unless the SOL pops up ;-]
....where is the S/O to be placed inside the MOQ? Naturally as
the intellectual level. It's written all over LILA, but by the stilted
way that Pirsig proposes the SOM returns in force, and that way
subjectivity can't be removed. To the contrary it is made the base
of the MOQ!
But my opponents are just more than happy because they have
never moved an iota from the SOM.

Maybe we all are, but it's like the MOQ has opened some
floodgate.
