Again others (Ant in another thread) say it more eloquently.
OK so we catch individual offenders and bang them to rights - send 'em
to the chair if you had your way no doubt - but which problem have we
solved, which "bastards" have we defeated ? It's progress, but not the
whole answer is it.
Platt, soon you will be able to see the papers from The MoQ conference
- Ant let me see a sneak preview and I was reminded of a point Pirsig
himself made in the opening address.
Pirsig is very anglophile. Next to Quality, the most important word in
the world is "Fair" and he sees the archetypal British fairness in
addressing the good and bad in all situations, the two sides to every
story, as a key to the future of the MoQ, and the world. He saw that
menatlity very strongly in Ant.
