I believe a complete rethinking of our penal/justice system would be
possible under an MOQ society. What GOOD does it do the victims of a
crime or relative of a murder victim to have the perpetrator in a
prison cell or killed by lethal injection? A human is a terrible
thing to waste. Put them to good use. Let them earn restitution.
Let their victims have some input on when they have repaid their debt
to them and to society. If they are such low quality humans that
they can come up with nothing useful to contribute except grunt
labor, let them work off their sins with the sweat of their brow. If
they won't even do that, let them rot. At least they'd have a chance
    to use their intellect.
