I think we have a few more options to consider:
1. Pirsig might be more than one personality, either as a character (Rigel)
arguing with whoever for whatever purpose might suit the next novel.
2. RMP might be a number of us on this forum
3. Or all of us, talking to him/ourselves, in which case, carried to the
extreme would make him/us Quality, with the capital Q. Tat Tvam Asi.
