    In mentioning "racial profiling" as a piece of rhetoric replacing common
    sense, I was showing your idea that rhetoric is better than logic to be
    problematic. Ignore it if you wish.

    I don't say. Pirsig says, and I agree. And the subject at hand is not "a
    good explanation," but the criteria of truth. Only the last criterion
    applies to explanation.

    Experience (everybody has it)
    Logical Consistency (priceless if you want to survive)
