<<Me neither. This is one my doubts about the postmodernist's
foundational stance against the existence of ultimate Truth. >>
Hey folks, I am new here. I am a social theorist with The Billions of
Minds Project, also soon to be a writer with yellowtimes.org's PINR
section, and a musician with music group Wanderjahr (see:
www.wanderjahrmusic.com ). I read Pirsig's Zen and the Art of Motor
Cycle Maintenance after finding it in a pile of books that someone threw
in the trash about 10 years ago.
I thought that the above comment was interesting. I consider some the
things that I do to be "postmodern" by definition. Yet, I cannot see how
a postmodernist could proclaim "there is no ultimate truth", because
that proclamation, if true, would be the ultimate truth, now, wouldn't
it!?!?
