Pete,
To the extent that chaos is change gone wild it is DQ. Mark and other insist
on equating DQ with Quality itself which leads to a lot of muddled thinking.
Those who argue for the strict determinism you mention in your last sentence
are stuck in a Newtonian paradigm. This view has been soundly discredited.
Case
Hi Mark,
I'm interested in the idea of chaos (and randomness) in relation to DQ but I
don't know what is the Plotinian One.
Dynamic Quality I see as something as yet formless but just about to start
to crystallise; a random event could begin this crystallisation. On the
other hand some people would argue that there is no randomness because
everything is ultimately causally connected.
