There's no rule against wild speculation or silliness, but I can appreciate
the desire to be prepared and be serious too. Personally, I like all that
stuff mixed together.
But I would like to repeat the same simple objection I offered to Sam. Its
something to seriously contemplate as you're putting on your clown make-up
and those giant floppy shoes. The main reason I object to comparing the MOQ
to the Trinity is that the MOQ has two parts and the Trinity has three. I
mean, the static/Dynamic split renders two halfs, not two halfs and a whole.
You get undivided Quality OR you get the two categories, but not both at the
same time. To get three parts, Quality, DQ and sq, you'd have to begin with
two wholes. See what I mean?
Plus Pirsig describes the MOQ as "anti-theistic" and the Trinity is a
decidedly theistic concept.
Thanks,
dmb
