you can't know others until you know your-Self.

dude, i really think you are missing the most
important thing: the central thread of pirsig's work:
the mystic core: the unitary truth: ie simultaneously
one and many. dynamic/static.
you can't be poor when you realise that you already
have everything. you won't steal from others when you
realise that there is nothing you need from them.
the poorest people in the poorest countries are
generally a lot happier than your average neurotic
westerner.
