The Anglican church is pretty roomy where doctrine is concerned. As I say, I
see myself as a pretty 'middle of the road' Anglican.

Er.... all depends on what you mean by 'spoken to and heard' - as always. I
sometimes think of God as being like the 'tilt mechanism' on a pinball
machine - when you start moving away from God God starts flashing lights at
you :o)

Not normally. "The personal source of meaning" is my definition _du jour_.
(you could substitute 'value' for 'meaning' if you wanted)
