I think you'd really like Sex, Ecology, Spirituality.
What he is able to do is to take two great thinkers with apparently mutually
exclusive positions and apply his system to clearly show that they were
actually both right (or perhaps each half right and half wrong).

I guess if you only consider those who have advanced degrees and work in
academia as scholars, then Wilber is not one.

I picked him up recently after hearing DMB's references to him. I had
actually looked him up before but couldn't kind him in the philosophy
section. He is unfortunately shelved in "General Metaphysical" with the "I
see dead people" types. (I also find it interesting that ZAMM is usually to
be found in the philosophy section, while Lila is in literature.)
