Paul:
Squonk's idea of an ancient mind-intellect is direct
from Pirsig.
Hello Paul,
I am happy you emphasise this, because i NEVER claimed this to be MY idea,
and i feel i have taken care not to convey that impression either? I feel Bo
must understand this?
I simply do not understand why Bo refuses to acknowledge that i agree with
Mr. Pirsig? Thus, if Bo disagrees with me, he is simply disagreeing with my
reiteration of Mr. Pirsig's position. Therefore, if i present Mr. Pirsig's ideas
coherently, Bo is primarily disagreeing with Mr. Pirsig.
I wish to stress this, because i would be most disturbed if it should be
thought i claimed another's ideas for my own.
As i say, the question is, why does Bo attribute ideas to me which he must be
fully aware are Mr. Pirsig's? Does he feel that by labelling these ideas
Squonk's they are immediately discredited in some sense?
