    I don't think one should try to base one's actions on DQ. The idea is more
    to be aware of when you are acting as a result of SQ (on any level except
    maybe the inorganic), and to question it. That allows DQ to act through you
    more.

     Intellectually I can understand it

    We are also (like everything) comprised of DQ, though we can't point to it
    in ourselves.

    You might want to look at my post (sent with this) in the "The Intellectual
    Level" thread, and see how it applies to your questions. For one thing, I
    think it addresses the supposed "immorality of building an intellectual
    metaphysics around the concept of Quality" issue.
