I'm not sure of the whole context of this, so ignore this if it is referring
to something else.
Anyway, the logic of contradictory identity is for cases where the
resolution of tension is impossible. It is this that differentiates it from
Hegelian logic. (Which isn't to say that Hegelian, or Aristotelian, logic is
wrong. They each apply in their own sphere.)
