    Hi Scott

Thank you for the reply. It seems to me that it is implied in several
sections of Lila (if you require quotes they'll have to wait until I'm
unpacked--I'm moving in a week and all my books are boxed up at the moment)
that intellect is both static and Dynamic. A definition is necessarily
static while Dynamic Quality is beyond any concept.

I think the MOQ would say the creation of intellectual patterns of value
(ideas) is a Dynamic process for which there's no static explanation, "a dim
apprehension of we know not what," or what might be called a brainstorm, to
put a name on it. So I agree with what you're saying about intellect as far
as "mind as a locus of DQ/SQ interplay" but I also believe Robert Pirsig
does distinguish between thoughts and thinking in Lila.

    Thanks again,

    Dan
