First, I want to recommend your new textbook, "An Introduction to
Robert Pirsig's Metaphysics of Quality" to all in this discussion group
because they will find it an absolutely brilliant explanation of the
MOQ in relation to all the major philosophers from Plato right up to
the moderns. In this book you show how the MOQ solves the "problems"
that philosophers (and our group) have struggled with since the
beginning.
Second, I want to thank you for making it available without charge at
your website for anyone to download at their convenience.
Third, I want everyone to know that your work will considered by future
generations as the catalyst that brought the MOQ into the mainstream of
knowledge and understanding because more and more educators will now
become aware of the MOQ as a direct result of your efforts.
Finally, I extend my heartfelt thanks for your achievement. As I read
your work, DQ all around me shone through.
Best regards,
Platt
