Dear Matt,
The question how (else) do YOU organize YOUR beliefs and experience was
indeed meant personally. My way of organizing my beliefs hasn't changed much
since my 25th and even between my 16th and 25th the change seems in
retrospect more like making them more explicit and systematizing them, than
real change. So, please don't use your age as an excuse.
I meant to judge for myself whether YOUR way of organizing your beliefs and
experience differs so much from mine and whether 'metaphysics' (as I define
it) cannot be used for it.
By the way, if you describe your way of organizing your beliefs 23 Nov 2003
20:02:00 -0600 as 'the trivial ways that are left over after we don't take
metaphysics seriously', how serious should I take then your criticism that
my organizing questions (which aren't metaphisic according to your
definition either) are trivial?
With friendly greetings,
Wim
