    Hi

I think the thing Platt needs to grasp is that DQ
can emerge in a more complex way at higher levels.
The point of static organisations like government
is that they enable us to maintain the social
and intellectual levels above the biological. At least
this is their evolutionary purpose. Clearly, they fail to live
fully up to their purpose in many ways. But I would like to suggest
that we should value the idea of making the intellectual level accessable
to everyone. I see that as making food, shelter, and access to books and
the internet very high goals for everyoone in the world. I also
suggest that our current practices and values have improved these things
but increasingly only support greater inequality and conflict and we are
in great need of finding a better form of quality at a social level, better
supporting the intellectual and biological levels. Any thoughts?

    regards
    David M
