    Greetings everyone,

Yesterday was my trip to Museum of Fine Arts. It was a very good day.

Thanks for all your fine comments.

Five years ago I quit my job to paint, so I have my own personal
perspective and study agenda. I'd like to paint like John Singer Sargent,
but I made a pilgrimage (2000) to Madrid to study Velazquez. Their
paintings are very different than Gauguin's.

I enjoyed the exhibit. Gauguin thought himself a wild man. That sounds
right to me. I especially liked his boldness with color, and the way he
filled the canvas. He was fearless. I have much to learn, so
experiencing his painting perspective was great. I felt his excitement.

Junk art! There were piles of junk that were created to cast realistic
people shadows on the wall. Unbelievable!!! Mind altering!!! Quality!!!

The trip was inspiring. I was up painting at 3:00am.
