hey dan,
re: race as lineage.
doesn't it get a bit confusing?
i mean i live in australia and have done so for most
of my life, but i was born in northern england to a
scottish mum whose blue eyes and blond hair (like
mine) suggest a more distant link to scandinavian
adventure holidayers centuries ago.
and of course we all migrated from africa....i mean
that is where our lineage leads, for all of us
apparently. so are we all the same 'race'? or does
race begin at 0 AD? or how many years do you have to
spend in a place to be 'from there', racially
speaking?
dare i say it is all too subjective (oh no the 's'
word)
