    My remark about a ‘contentious subject’ refers to the squabbles my wife and
    I have had about the difference between men and women.

    Mark 5-7-04: I realised this may have been the case later. Then i further
    realised that i had not actually introduced anything which delineated between the
    value of men and women at all. Now that you mention it, i wonder if there are
    differences?

    Romeo and Juliet! Abelard and Eloise! Men from Mars, Women from Venus! Adam
    and Eve! Christ and Mary! Marriage! In my mind these are all parts of SQ-SQ
    tension in human relationships (again). Not to speak of wars and conflicts.

    fear women? How many do what they do because they feel inadequate in some
    social or biological sense? Why do muslim woman have to exist in a culture which
    insists they become hidden objects?
