    Hi,

    I've been lurking here for two weeks. I read ZAMM when it first came out in the
    70s, and I finished read Lila just before I joined this list. ZAMM (and other
    influences at that time in my life) dramatically challenged my worldview and
    caused me to question the mainstream traditions of western philosophy. This
    sent me in the direction of Buddhism, Yoga, and Taoism, and later to western
    non-dualistic mystical traditions in Quakerism, and Transcendentalism and now to
    the perspective of ecopsychology.
