Yes, Calvin! I thought it was really cool. My edition has a blurb from
Pirsig on the back: "Normally we add new facts to existing knowledge. But
once in a while a book like this comes along and does just the opposite - it
adds a new pattern of knowledge to existing facts. The result is striking."

James P Carse also wrote my favorite book on Jonathan Edwards, called
Jonathan Edwards and the Visibility of God, which I recommend higher than
any book on the planet.
His most famous book is "Breakfast at the Victory: The Mysticism of Ordinary
Experience" which I haven't read, but hear is really good too. Hey, I think
I'll order it right now...
