    Chuck, Paul, all

It seems that the MoQ is like any tool, especially
the conceptual tools, where to find the limits of
the use of the tool, you really have to at some
point exceed a limit to find the limit.

Religiousness or spirituality, as opposed to the
religion as a structure (social), as a dogma (intellectual)
or other lower level function seems to be a limit to
    which MoQ does not speak.

It is like a discussion of the proper texture and flavor
for a wooden block to be considered blue. The baby
explores these very things as she puts the block in
her mouth and the extension of sense evaluation
shows that taste and feel just can't "GET" blueishness.

If MoQ stops at the intellectual, then the spiritual is
just not a part of it...

It seems that the evolution (ironic term) of a religious
faith starts with a person and their experience of some
transcendent insight or event. (How and what are
    unimportant for this discussion.)
The meaning of the insight is communicated by the
person to others. The spiritual experience is wrapped
in descriptions and delimiters to creat a dogma, which
is an intellectual vector pointing to the spiritual. Next as
the dogma is spread, (some GET the spiritual other
followers just have faith it is TRUE) the followers begin
to act, dress, or express themselves as a different social
    group.
So, we have this sort of backwards evolution by a faith
from its pure spiritual experience to include a dogma
    and a social structure.

This explains a lot about the struggles within and between
religions over the eons. If the followers (or the leaders)
mistake their social structure or their dogma for the
    transcendent spiritual event...well.

Could it be that the spiritual depends on the intellectual,
or is emergent from it, as the intellectual is from the
    social?

    Thoughts?

    thanks--mel
