I don't think so. In my view, MOQ only differs from SOM in that it
maintains that reality is created by values (i.e. Quality) and that these
values are more basic than what we perceive as mind and matter. I accept
this view wholeheartedly. However, I still believe that the reality created
by values is independent of individual beliefs. Facts are facts. Truth
isn't relative.
This may not be orthodox Pirsigism, but I still think it's consistent with
MOQ and is a more defensible position.
