Subject: MD !!!!MEMES!!!

Hi David,

As the guy who brought the Memes thread upon this list I think I am entitled
to some remarks.
First, I am not anxious to compare memes with patterns of value, IMO I
think memes form , or at least has something to do with the forming of the
patterns of value.
Secondly, I am not a Darwinist, more likely I am what you should call a
Lamarckian.
Thirdly, memeticists don 't pretend that any evolutionary theory has its
value. We just happen' to think, as we examine the facts and fiction that
what we see is " evolutionary ". There is sometimes a liniair process going
on...
Fourtly, in MOQ history, Reality is of great importance, IMO parts of
reality which are no longer around, like example, dinosaurs which did die
out, are part of OURS reality. Just imagine, the possibility of those many
of thousands brilliant ideas which never made it to the top of your brain !
Imagine what you could have accomplished with those ideas....what would
reality be like if such ideas has survived !?
Of course, it is rubbish even to speculate, but IMO such thoughts has their
own relevancy.
Fifhtly, I am not angry, I understand your reasons, but even I am surprised
by the respons I have. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I with
intro-
ducing this thread, my original aim what quite something else, but there you
are,
would open up a closed MOQ- door.
I do recognize Memes were already known to the MOQ ( Peter and so)
but I feel as the memetisist I did contribute some new aspects not know
to the list. As from my side of the water here, I intend to go on, not to
jeapardize the MOQ but to see the picture of Memetics more clearly.
I said it before on this list, I built a bridge between two discussion
lists, if
now the MOQ pretends to have a positive influence on Memetics or the
other way round I don 't care. My aim is to learn more and maybe, MAY
BE someday we will concur and that day will be a great one for both ways
of thought....

In that respect see my next post to you,

With best regards,

' Not angry ' Kenneth, I am quite Happy...
