Hi Davor:

Are you saying Erich Fromm wasn't a Marxist of the first order? To those who
would like to decide for themselves the answer to that question, I refer
them to "Human Nature and Social Theory" -- a letter by Erich Fromm at

http://www.marxists.org/archive/fromm/works/1969/human.htm

The site itself should give you a clue, but I quote from the letter: "I
believe my work to be closer to Marx's theory than you think."

As for "resentment" against socialist ideas, I resent loss of liberty to
social engineers whose willingness to impose their morality of "love"
by physical force knows no limit, as history clearly proves.
