MD levels, sets?

I don't fully accept the levels either, but because of what I perceive to be
an oversimplification of its hierarchy. For example, religion seems to get
shoved into the 'Social' level. But many a sincere faith-practioner will
tell you that religion is something that is invested as much in one's
intellect as one's Social interactions - and without detracting from one's
ability to pursue 'pure' Intellectual matters. (I notice too sometimes, that
some people who claim to be above and beyond religion/social patterns have a
blind spot, and harbour values and judgements which cannot be derived from
Intellect alone, yet they use Intellect to rationalise their values as if
they were.)

Religion can be the Mythos that inextricably shapes one's
logos/intellect, and to abstract one's thoughts from it would be as to
uproot a field of plants from their soil.
Culture (which would include mythos and language, the soil of thought) is
supposed to be included in the Social level, but seems to me to more
properly be a level between society and intellect. Society seems like it
should correspond more to externally focused organisational aspects such as
rank, status, honour, control mechanisms etc.
This would be an example of what I mean:

INTELLECT
creative thoughts
ideas
CULTURE
memes/mythos
words/language
SOCIETY
money/social mobility
rank/status
BIOLOGY
genes
d.n.a.
INORGANIC
molecules
virtual particles/waves

Since Society is right at the crux of what in SOM is regarded as the split
between subjects and objects, this would gel with the continuing friction
about 'social sciences', economics, ideology etc. in our SOM based
civilisation perhaps?

What do you think, does this muddy the waters or clear them for you?

Also, would it be more helpful to think of the levels as 'sets', as in
mathematics? These can overlap too, and contain each other. I have to
constantly remind myself when speaking of 'levels' that I am _all_ of them,
not just Intellect - perhaps it's just me.
