Hi Magnus!

It really has been too long. My take on the "it gets very boring to explain
my particular differences in every thread" comment is that it usually isn't
necessary. As I wrote in another post yesterday, many of us (including you
of course) are beyond arguing the finer points of Pirsig. We know him about
as well as we can or at least as well as we WILL. The challenge for us is to
find ways to apply the ideas and the spirit to our lives and our solutions.
This does occasionally lead though to my suggesting something different than
what the MOQ would lead to. I usually just explain it as "where I differ"
and go on.

I suspect we could accomplish what you are suggesting on a tree of MOQ
variants in the forum. John has done this. The problem is probably that
very few of us have consciously and systematically mapped out our
philosophical variation and what it leads to. I do hope to draft mine up (a
lot of it is already written) and get it in the forum some day.

Happy Thansgiving!
Rog
