Yes, the focus is on the origin of the universe. Science's current best
theory says the universe originated from nothing. The MOQ says the
universe originated from Quality or dharma, the principle of rightness.
This not only directly contradicts science's "oops" theory of the origin of
universe, but its explanations of subsequent developments as well. To
attribute many fundamental changes to chance, as science does to
avoid any hint of the supernatural, is not so much an experimental
conclusion as an admission of ignorance.

I don't see the MOQ as contradicting science so much as
supplementing it with a deeper explanation of why things happen as
they do. The reason I brought up the "something from nothing" theory
was simply to show that neither Christianity nor the MOQ have a
monopoly on the "fantastic."
