Thanks, Sam,
I've been asked by a couple of academic groups here to put a small reading
list together, and I will post it here.
For 1967 and the post 1967 'peace process', William Quandt has a detailed
book out, PEACE PROCESS, American Diplomacy and the Arab-Israeli Conflict
Since 1967; Brookings Insitution Press, 2001. It is richly documented, and
starts with the events of 1967, running through the end of the Clinton
administration and the eruption of cyces current violence in the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It covers Camp David, Oslo, and Madrid in
considerable detail. Quandt is highly knowledgeable and knows many of the
players personally.
Best regards,
Lawry

Dear Lawrence,
I don't know if Rog wants to take you up on your offer, but I for one
would be very interested to be pointed in the direction of some good books
on the Middle East conflict. I am particularly interested in the events of
1967, and the Oslo process through the 1990s. All pointers gratefully
received.
I've been enjoying your posts.
Thanks
Sam
