RICK
I cannot speak for others, but my silence in the face of requests for help
from the committee comes on account of my very limited computer skills. I
don't know how to run servers or design websites (several years ago I tried
to set up a site for the purposes of reconstructing Pirsig's card catalogue
by working backwards from LILA, but I couldn't figure it out). If there is
anything I can do in a non-technical capacity (or technical but easy to
learn), I hope you wouldn't hesitate to ask. I also wouldn't be opposed to
paying a reasonable fee for the maintenance of the forum.

RICK
I compliment you a judicious and reasonable decision... a Quality solution
which allows valuable ideas in, without having to sacrifice social order
(win/win).

RICK
I can't speak for Struan (though I will forward him a copy of your
decision). You have found (what I believe) is a moral MOQ solution. And I
hope you don't think that I have been laying this all on you--- I have urged
Struan in an non-MD email to contact you and try to settle your differences.
As for this....
STRUAN
'Lila' is out of print here in England with no plans to re-publish.

And yet we know Struan hasn't been able to keep away. I think he enjoys
participating here as much as some of enjoy his contributions.

Fair enough. Thank you Horse.
